Romania’s National Company for Managing Road Infrastructure (CNAIR) has auctioned off again the contract for building the highway segment Targu Mures – Ungheni and the connection road. The value is estimated at 63.2 mil euros, without VAT. The attribution criterion will be the best value for money on the bid price.

The Targu-Mures-Ungheni segment is part of the Brasov-Targu Mures-Oradea highway, also known as the “Transylvania highway”. Bids can be submitted until December 7th this year, and offers will be assessed until January 3rd next year. The project is financed through the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme.
